Morrowind GOTY edition

it's coming this week to retailers near me.

And I'm getting it. I've reimmersed myself for a latest 3 month bout of MW addiction. I've wanted to see Bloodmoon and Tribunal, but I'm still exploring MW's dungeons, guilds, etc, and this time through I haven't even been infected with Corprus yet....

So who's getting it? $30 sounds like a nice price to pay.

Does it come with BOTH add-on's? If not, hell no, if so, with the recent glut in good games (i'm dying here), I may just get it.

yes it has both addons blood moon and tribunal

Yeah, both expansions included.

And that brings me to another option: Bloodmoon and Tribunal expansion packs are being sold for $15 each now. I've thought maybe to just get the expansions as I've already got the original MW. But I figure why bother? I'll save installation time by just getting GOTY edition. And I can give my retail MW to my brother for his birthday or christmas.

I was in Best Buy only a few days ago, 30 a pop, and 30 for morrowind... though that was about a week ago. Still don't know if it is worth the money to me though. I like RPG's, but it has some glaring problems which I really don't know if I can overcome to get back into playing it. I'd have to hear firsthand about the add-ons before I spend money on them, the first one I had heard it wasn't all that special, nothing on the second though.

Here's where the $15 ea. Tribunal/Bloodmoon is found. I was also in Best Buy this week taking note of the $30 pricetag for these. In a few weeks it'll drop. As far as reviews of the expansions you may browse the forums on http://www.elderscrolls.com/index.php .

Personal Review
The expantions are sorta a letdown after playing the initial game. Tribunal although a very brief addon, isnt really even a location on the map, its just a city and quite small when your used to the huge main world. The stuff you can get there is very cool and I like though how the story intermingles with the story in the main game. Probably the best part of the game to test how good in combat you are.

Bloodmoon I found the worst of the three. I found the entire area is very similar and no weapons/armor/anything that was better than what I already had or even had 1/3 of the way through the game. Sure it gives you new abilities to turn into a werewolf but they dont matter much if your a good guy like mine is. The enemies were a bit more challenging but all rather similar and they keep reappearing even after slaughtering every moving creature on the island. The snow also slowed my comp down considerably, whereas I got no slowdown during the main game. To be honest I never finished this one but got very far and just stopped playing, I was sick of going back n forth in the same area, just drove me nuts.

The main game though is def worth getting for those who havent played it. I think I played for a couple to few weeks just screwin around until I even started the main storyline. I wish more games were open like this.

Your def better buying them all together if its only $30. Its almost like gettting the addons for free.

So no real improvements... looks like MAYBE if I have the time to spare and I really dont' have it, I'll spend the money. I can afford it, it is just the morality of supporting someone I don't want to support. Sheer bordom doesn't necessarily mean I should open my wallet to supporting ****ty software.

D$#%. I just went out and bought Morrowind a week ago for $20 with no expansion. I wish I would have seen this before. I feel shafted now.:(

I have heard this game is very cool from my boss but ive never played it. I'll have to check it out. If its some gay play-forever everquestian game thou forget it
