I heed help! Heeeeeelp!

I just installed a friend's new comp. He uses a SATA HD as aboot disk (this gives no errors, i installed window xp pro on it and it boots flawlessly)
Buuut he wants his old HD installed as a storage disk. Now wherever i install this disk (prim., sec. ide, master/slave doesn't matter) he apparently takes the IDE disk in priority and says 'no system disk found blablabla'
So that means he takes the IDE in higher boot priority than the SATA with the installed winXP.
Any idea on how to fix this so he uses the SATA as bnoot disk always and just takes the IDE disks as normal storage disks?

CHeers:confused:

It's a BIOS setting. Tell the BIOS to only look at SATA drive and ignore other boot drives.

If you can let me know what motherboard it is, I'll be able to point you in a more specific direction.

There is no boot SATA first option it comes under SCSI option. This is exactly the setup I have... 120GB SATA boot and 40 Second drive on the Primary IDE.
