I am formatting tomorrow, and I have a Gigabyte 7VAX mobo with the KT400 chipset. I am currently using Via drivers last released with the mobo, which are 1 year old. The latest VIA drivers are the 4.49, but which ones will give me the fastest system and most stable performance? Any help from a VIA fan would be great. System specs are:

Windows XP Home SP1
Athlon XP 2100
1 GB DDR333
Gigabyte 7VAX KT400 mobo
GF4 Ti4200 64 mb
WD 20 GB HD

Thanks in advance

Id go with the latest drivers unless you notice some specific problem with them.

Check VIA's site, I'm sure they will say the latest, but I know going from the kt133-333 to the 400, the hyperions were optimized for the 400's - since the 600 is just a rebuild of the 400, I'd think the latest would be the best.

Try the nforce2 drivers. :)
