Whats this i hear about seagate coming out with RAID10??? the ability to mirror 1 terrabyte of information??????
How much does this cost and where can i get one??????
dunno what i would do with it but i am sure i can figure something out....

For a server I can understand that much storage space, but what would you do with a mirrored terabyte of data???:eek:

I remember days when people didn't know what they would do with 100GB of space now this is very common.
Personally my total storage is almost 1/4 of a terabyte.
Eventually we will have terabyte drives and the main use I would put it to would be to dump my video/DVD's etc onto it, saves all that disk swapping etc.

i dunno, i have quite close to 0.25 terrabytes of data on my computer... who knows what the average consumer would do with a full terrabyte....

For something that large, I think I'd prefer something solid state. I'd hate to see a head crash on a terabyte HDD. For that matter, even the seek time would have to be larger, who knows?:eek:
