What is a place that will let me build and host my own website for free? I'm looking for an alternate to geocities. Any help would be appreciated.

Several ISP's will allow you free space for a PERSONAL site only. I use Worldnet and they provide 10 MEG of server space.

I have had no problems with Tripod.com (http://www.tripod.com) 50 megs space

Tripod is quite good.

Here are some features I liked:
. You can coustomize the ads.
. Get to add costumizable Guestbooks, Feedback, Poll etc.
. You can also use FTP to upload.

There are many more nice features...
