I seem to have a small smudge on my lcd monitor. About 4-5px tall and 2-3px wide. I have tried cleaning with a sofd dry cloth, but it dosent want to come off. Any ideas? I can only see it at some angles to.

Could it be a scratch ? Sorta like a scuffing on the surface? You would have a bit more work to remove that.

At wal-mart (or pretty much any other computer store probably) you can get a wet-wipe like thing for LCD monitors and other things. They work really well, it's what I use on everything and they leave no residue, and even get off sticky stuff like the hard candy drops I somehow got on it. . . . I have no idea how that happened. They're called "Nice 'n Clean"

I use a professional camera lens cleaner cloth for my LCD. Sure...it doesn't get bad fingerprints or smudges off, but...it wipes away the dust quite nicely, without having to worry bout liquid cleaner getting in the bezel, etc.

They're only a few bucks...
