I?m looking to get a new system. I want something I can take to school. I have a great pc see and a laptop.
I am looking for something fast, light weight. I was thinking either a Tablet PC or a sub notebook. Which would you recommend? I don?t care about hdd space but I?m looking for something where the speed is at least decent.

That thin and fast thing doesn;t always work my friend...the bigger it is physucally, the more room there is to put more power into it...
But you should look into a Sony( they are awesome but have fragile cases in the thin and light models)
Toshiba if you do not mind size but you will get the power and durability you want...

Is this jetbook any good. I have never heard of Jetta before.
Also im not looking for a computer that is more the 1.5ghz. I have seen some subnotebooks with 1gz with is fine with me but I dont know much about them would it be difficult to take notes? Is the battery life satisfactory?
My questions for the tablet pc are: Hows the battery life on a slate? Is recognition acurate most of the times? Is it difficult to write on?
Or should I just get a thin laptop like the jetbook?

Wow! When you said small, you REALLY meant small!
Heres the deal with Jetbooks....
I have not owned a Jetbook or any laptop for that matter. The only reason I heve heard of them is through my uncle. My uncle has been selling computers in his shop in northern California for about 20 years now. He sells all kinds of laptops as well, every brand I can think of plus some and Jetbooks are part of that plus some. He has told me that they are the best laptops he has ever sold. He rates them on returns of course and his own experience with them. He has stated to me that all laptops are generally of the same quality with the exception of Jetbooks which he states are quite a bit better. I am not trying to sell laptops for my uncle here, just trying to spread the word on a superior product that isn't well known yet. :)

If you're willing to spend that kind of money, then I like the Panasonic R2. It has the most RAM and HDD for the money.
Very cool... :t
