I just set up my home network finally(wow what a headache) and need some mods for quake3 to play. What are some good ones? I know theres tons of them out there, but I'm on dial-up or I'd download them all.

Also I need some older games that I can play with him over lan. His computer is a p2-400 with a tnt2 32mb. and 128ram , so it limits us as to what we can play. Any older racing games that I can pick up in the bargain bins? I run win2k and he has win98se. I used to play nfs-porsche all the time on his computer, but it doesn't play on win2k.

What about any free games or demos to download and play? Hes only 7, so I can't play any rts games with him yet. Just fps or racing games.

Thanks for any input.

There is a list of mods towards the bottom, and a bunch of Quake 3 mods are mixed in.

we're a generous bunch :) - post a thread in user to user - lots of guys have older games they'd probably send you if you just asked - they might ask you to pay for shipping but what the heck

can't have that little guy sitting around waiting on 3 and 4 hour dialups, and if you don't use a download manager dial-up may lose a download mid-course

i liked true combat a lot more than urban terror and osp is good if you're into the 1 vs 1 thing
