I have 2 computers giving me the same problem.
Green led on 845 and 865 Intel Motherboard is ON but when the power switch is put on the computer does not receive any Power and thus does not start.
I have changed the SMPS but with no success
Any suggestions on this will be very helpful.
Thanks

Remove the board from the case, place it on a soft, non-conductive surface near the case and plug in the ATX power. Leave in the CPU and RAM. Place the vid card in and connect the monitor. Connect the power. Nothing else needs to be connected. Press down hard on the vid card and use your screwdriver to short the POWER BUTTON pins. See if it POSTs.

Hello! I have a Motherboard doing the same Thing. I also am looking for a Wiring diagram where the Speaker/Switch hookup goes and the Reset/ HDD Led Wires go . Someone before me had played with the wires there and I want to make suire they are in the right Place.
Thank You

Stan - hi again - use Sisoft Sandra or AIDA32 to ID your mobo, or look for a name silkscreened on the board and do a google search....
But please don't be jumping in on other threads or double posting - be patient - you either have your answer or you will get one. Thanks.
