Someone at sysopt asked me once,
What exactly is a *Genuine* nVidia board?

Well, a genuine nVidia board is OEM, and is not made by another company according to reference specs. nVidia made it, and it outperforms the Leadtec one, if nothing else. It's stamped with a lovely nVidia Corporation logo right on the board, and has Infineon branded memory.

What's all that mean? Not too much. But that's what it is.

The only thing I don't love about this board is that the fan can be removed from the heatsink, but the HS is nicely attached to the GPU so that I cannot remove it, without fear of damaging the board. I'd like to put some serious cooling on there so I can overclock a little more, but hey.

Excellent cards, as we have some of these floating around among the staff. Most are actually built by Elsa, thought you would like to know.

On a related note, I personally have a true STB Voodoo3 reference board laying around here somewhere. Never reached production, though is a great card none-the-less. Only a handful ever made it to the public. Also recent sold a rare TNT-2 with high-performance SG-RAM (not SD-) memory installed.
