I have been having problems with the proxy password for webpages that have windows media player videos embedded in them. I am behind a proxy server and it asks me for a proxy username and password. I am happy to fill in the username and password but I also click on the checkbox that says to remember my password. The next time that I visit another webpage with an embedded windows media player video in it, the proxy authentication comes up with the wrong password. I have to re-type the password over again. What is going on here. I tell the program to remember my password but it remembers a wrong one. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Win95/98 use a pwl file to store the passwords in.

Delete the file and then all of your passwords will have to be typed in again, but they will be right this time.
