Was checking device manager and under pci tab,found irq steering was disabled due to mapping errors,would like to know if there i
is a fix with out reloading windows 98se. system is k6/2 5oo,win 98se,128ram

Make sure IRQ's aren't assigned in the BIOS, that your letting the OS configure plug and play devices.

How is steering configured? MS specification table checked, ACPI BIOS checked etc..
