Alondra,
Are you looking for a dual-disk drive, or two single disk drives (two 1541s)?

BTW, did you ever find the 8-pin DIN connector you were looking for?

I once had 2 floppy drives and a printer hooked up to my Commodore 64, so it can be done. I think you need a cable with 6 pins DIN connectors, but I'm not 100% sure. It has been a while since I last worked with a C64. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

WOW... you have TWO 1571s.... drool... Do you have a CMD 20MB HD as well?

I can't say I've even seen a dual-drive, only heard of them. You might be able to find someone on the comp.sys.cbm newsgroup who is willing to part with one of those beasties.

Re. the 8-pin DIN... I think you'll need something like a 270 degree plug, not a 240 degree plug.... or was is the other way around? It's been so long that I forgot which is which.

Perhaps we should move this to private email? I'm getting nervous about discussing "commie" technology out in the open. LOL http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
