I checked the ram today and it is bad. Sorry it was new. Came with free wtih a friends barebones system. That's the generic **** for you. I am sorry again. Sorry again. I am very happy i checked it out before i was to send it. I want to appoligize again.:(

hey Brondum9, maybe your friend can send it back to where he bought the barebones kit for a replacement.....it's worth a try.

Yeah, I talked with them the other day and they want him to send back the whole barebones package if he wants it to be replaced. He didnt order the ram anyway it came with the barebones. I ordered him a stick of 512 PC3200 Crucial and he's happy.

I appreciate it.
