How fast is newegg.com's shipping (the FedEx Express Saver)? I'm in Ohio and I was just wondering how long it will take them.
P.S. Are they a real reliable company?
Thanks :t

It says a max of 3 days but since I live in Cali I get things really fast, and yes they are reliable, they are ther best.

Newegg is most definetly one of the best web merchants out there.. as I'm sure most here will agree..
I believe they can ship at different levels (overnight, ground...) They ship quickly but it's up to the shipping method.. You can also track your shipment online via Fedex.com and the tracking number they give you, along with an estimated shipping date.

3-5 working days. They have a processing time of 1-2 days before it ships.

Ok, that's reassuring. :)
But one thing that's not reassuring is the fact that when I went to their website today, they don't have the product listed that I'm ordering anymore (I'm ordering by Check). But since I placed the "order online" and got an order number and everything, I assume that one is reserved for me. Is that true?
Dunno. But they are reliable. If they don't have it, there will be arrangement made.

very reliable, I've ordered from them plenty of times before. I just placed an order on Saturday and it's getting here tommorow(should be anyways). It takes a little longer to get there if you order on the weekend or late friday night(newegg doesn't process orders on the weekends).
I live in San Francisco. New Egg is in Souther California. Apparently, if I order before Monday, it'll get here Wednesday. If I order Friday, it gets here Wednesday!

**** Ray, thats bad luck. I ordered from Newegg on Monday once and got it by Wednesday and Im (currently) residing in Iowa :( Still, it wont take to horribly long, and they are very good about giving refunds/exchanges if anything is damaged in transit.

It isn't bad luck, it is how packages are sorted. They are all shipped to a central processing plant then shipped out from there. At least that is how the postal service does it. I'd imagine UPS and Fedex have regional sorting facilities instead of one large one. Only things which bypass that facility are overnight packages, when they get to the local fedex/ups recieving facility, they are sent out from there, possibly two day as well, but if they can send it by ground in two days, it will go on the truck instead of on the plane - it's cheaper. They have computers which work out all that stuff to an inane degree, but that is why shipping is relatively cheap and reliable, it is worked out to such a high degree.
neverwhere It's not bad luck. I just think Wednesday is New Egg Day. I've RMA'd a few things. It takes a couple of Wednesdays to get the replacement.

Just cause the website is up 24/7 doesn't mean they work weekends. That's why a lot of stuff that is two day will arrive on wednesday.

Order it on Monday, it will arrive on Friday.
True it's about 1-2 business days before they send it, unless you have the address onfile with the credit card company.
Fedex Express Saver takes 3 Business days to arrive, even if you're on the highway next to the City of Industry :D.
Newegg.com is the best store to shop around at.

I just spent $1200 on a large NewEgg order on Monday and my parts are scheduled to be at my door tomorrow by 4:30p. NewEgg is reliable, quick, and--most importantly--cheap!!! Their prices are usually in the top five on PriceWatch!
Why take a chance with some fly-by-night company if you're only saving $15? The hassle and headache you potentially face will will far exceed the $15 savings if you were to try to quantify it.
