Yesterday I borrowed a SNES from a friend and now I'm playing all those cool games like Donkey Kong Country 1,2 and 3, International Super Start Soccer Deluxe, Mortal Combat, Super Mario World, etc, etc, etc. I'm really having fun :D

I just got an emulator when I was in college and I was able to find almost every game ever made for SNES. Then when I got sick of it just deleted it.
Although I hate anime type games I have to admit Chrono Trigger was good SNES game as well as zelda.

If you dont play it now, I would consider it old, being built some where round 95, 96, "I think". I have it on my computer, Emulator with nearly all the games, but then I allso the Atari 2600, now thats an oldie big time, I even have about 14 games for it :)

Atari has some great games, I have about 30 titles back home. NES was the start of nearly all the classics though.

Emulators.....when I was in Korea some of my students asked me about those. Are they hardware? Or software? Does it take up a pci slot?

Phantasy star 4 was a beautifull game, I fully loved it and still play it to this day. As far as emulators go, some newly renovated games (all the FF, Chrono Trigger) are now Copyright protected and thus downloading them from ANYWHERE is illegal.

not true, I download mine for a small fee I pay for mine if I thought it was against the law I wouldnt do it. as i said above "some" sites are free, Plus sega, and N64 have there own sites where you can down load classics for free. the ones in your post may be, but you can still get them from the makers but pay :)

is the phantasy star series (mainly number 4) available for free emulation? #4 was in my top 3 when my brother lost it long ago.

Intellivison Baseball and Hockey! Now those were some great games of the early 80's.
I still have the console, but no games. Anyone know where I might find some?

I guess N64 is getting somewhat old, still don't consider any of their games to be classics. I have pulled out the old Atari, NES, and SNES and really enjoyed the games. I don't think I have ever gone back and played my PS1 titles.

Scramble, Asteriods, space invaders, gosh, real games they were.
I have managed to get clones of these games that are really very good, heamorriods was so similar to asteriods you could not tell the difference and they worked without emulators as they were re-written and played from a simple exe. The space invadrers game was 72kb which I find totally amazing.

It is software. To get you started, take a look at this website
