Yes--I'm a member there. (Dputiger) http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

x3dfx is a board created by ex-3dfx employees in Ireland. They released two additional sets of drivers, before being forced to shut down.

Nevertheless, the message boards are still there and busy, keeping up with the latest news, driver support, and other issues.

<sigh>

The main page has said that for five months.

Trust me--hit the 'Discussions' link.

You'll find the message board alive and well.

Best drivers for 3Dfx cards I've tested so far are from Xpentor, can find them here (http://www.geocities.com/xpentor/xpentor.html) .

"Under Deconstruction

We are presently in sensitive negotiations and have decided to temporarily take the x-3dfx site down.

We didn't expect the phenomenal interest that this site has generated. We would like to thank each and every one of you for your support and encouragement. The x-3dfx team has worked consistently since Friday 15th December 2000 to build a new innovative company based upon the talents and expertise of the 3dfx Belfast office in Northern Ireland and this site was fundamental in focusing our efforts towards this goal.

It has been an honour working for 3dfx and we hope that you got as much enjoyment from using our drivers as we obtained from creating and building them.

Watch this space for future developments from our new company, and once again thank you for your support."

Well, the drivers link is still active.

I grabbed the 3000 & 4500 drivers as I still run both and a 2000 card..

Hmm... no WIN2k support? I'm afraid to give it even a test run... any experience ND? How long have you been running these drivers?

Running these since they're out (about month or so), but now our RobRich does some additional tweaking, look here (http://www.sysopt.com/forum/Forum4/HTML/005502.html) for updates. However, I'm only tried them in Win98SE, donno about W2K ...
