I would choose a Amptron M817 board because it has worked exceptionally nice for me. It has onboard sound, LAN, modem, DDR RAM slots and SDRAM slots, and 266 FSB!!!!. It works great for me especially for its price.

hey I just threw together a web site if you like snowboarding and stuff so check it out and tell me what you think. www.geocities.com/versa_7623 (http://www.geocities.com/versa_7623)

I have a 1.0ghz Athlon using an Abit KT7A. This board has been flawless.
Asus also makes good boards.

Just my 2 cents.

I love my MSI K7t Pro 2a. Anandtech gave it mobo of the year for 2000. Very stable, and the accompanying software is nice too.

I've heard good things about Asus and Iwill's KT133A releases, and I have an Asus waiting for me at the FedEx hub right now. You really can't go wrong with Asus, Iwill or MSI.

Iwill's KK266 board will overclock very nicely and is very stable. It comes with onboard audio which is supposed to be fairly high quality. I've run two of these boards and have never had a problem. Comes in a RAID version also.

Epox 8K7A or the raid version 8K7A+. I hit 300MHz FSB on first try. One guy hit 380MHz.
