Hi all,

This is my first sensible post in here as I wanted a "sensible" discussion on something which has gotten me slightly worried.

I just read the news on BBCi & there is another report on a mass blackout , this time in Italy.

Does anybody agree with me that this is too much of a coincidence with the recent power cuts here & in the US?
I can't help but feel that governments around the world are either preparing for the unexpected or worse still , the expected.

Yes, My theory is that the governments of the world are controlled by aliens. They are sending the power back home to help with the coming invasion.

Or maybe it's just that many countries have old, outdated power grids that are over-stressed by a continually growing population?

Having spent my entire adult life working in the energy field, gas, electric etc. there is no mystery related to the recent power outages unless you incorporate poor maintenance and lack of new infrastructure into the scenario. All of the outages have been traced to a OOPS somewhere by PEOPLE, not aliens either.

Wow! That's quite far-fetched...

Anyway, we can wait and see what happened in the near future. Then nobody will need to argue over this matter.
