I have an Epson 1240U, I think thats the model no, sorry Im a work now. It will scan any negative that is put into the transperancy unit. Its about 6x8 in. It comes with some film adaptors to hold the negatives in place and make your life a little easier. I had a lot of old negatives from my parrents that didnt fit into the adaptors but scanned these just fine by laying them down onto the bed without the adaptors. I was ammazed by the quality of the scan that you could get with film negatives. I am very happy with this scanner and would recommend it to anyone. It also came bundled with Adobe Photoshop LE and 2 other photo editing software programs. I will check the model no. when I get home.
