I know $30 more is almost double your price after shipping, etc... but it's still a decent price for a great product... top of the line in its category. Like I said in another thread... every forum thread I've come across that asks about the best always results in everyone pointing to the Pioneer 106s. You won't be sorry. otheos 07-29-2001, 07:48 AM The LiteOn 16x DVD 48x CDROM!!! Moogs2K1 07-30-2001, 06:06 AM Aw man, if I had just read this a little earlier... I just ordered a drive from RunTime Computer Corporation. Is this a good company? (I spent $57 on it BTW) RayH 08-01-2001, 07:18 AM I just bought an older Toshiba (12x) for about $45 at a computer fare. But I had a DVD program lying around. It's the DVD player that can kill the price. Remember you can buy a stand alone for about $100! I use a 6x Toshiba for myself. I ain't giving it up. No firmware region on it! Kuasimodem 08-01-2001, 08:17 AM I order stuff from RunTime Computer Corp all the time, and I've had no problems. I especially like their Micron RAM. SysOpt.com
