The picture editor in the Pic and fax viewer would not open for any kind of pics. How can I handle that?

Try right-clicking an image file while holding down a Shift key. Select "Open with" and select the viewer.
Between you and me, IrfanView may be ugly, but it slays that thing.

That took me to opening the picture with the same pic and fax viewer which opens already by double clicking on the pic. It is the editor inside the viewer that is not opening.
I am thinking if there is 1 application file responsible for that editor it might be defective. May be if I can take it from another machine running XP it may correct the problem. But what is its name? and location?
I dont know what IrfanView is :(
