Well, those are all really nice desktops - I'm a bit partial to the Linux shots, but I am surprized that there are no Mac shots.

Well, here is my Linux desktop #4 & #3 -as some of you may know, in Linux you can have multiple desktops with applications running concurrently on each one - at the touch of a button. This machine can have up to 16 but I only have the 4.

NDC

You can store them by using services on the Internet that allow you to store images on their servers. Look here (http://login.ezboard.com/fezboardfrm36.showMessage?topicID=28.topic) for some services. To post an image to this board, look here (http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/ubbcode.html) under "Adding Images".

Well, three are showing for network connections, the HP soft is usually off when I'm not printing/copying/scanning/faxing, Matrox desktop is usually off too, and the rest are needed / wanted. So, that makes 6 (including sound, also not necessary on the systray) that I usually have running.

btw was just reading a revivew on XP, how they said that everthing is accessed from the start bar instead of the desktop. This is perfect and something I have been doing for a while, as you will see from my piccy.

If this offends anyone you may delete it. Hopefully it won't.

Here's mine:
http://firstclass.deakin.edu.au/~caolboy/desktop.jpg

It's only around 30KB, but the resolution has been set to 1152*864.

Simple, I know. But that's how I like it. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

On a side note...I give up. Can you write HTML code (the &lt;A HREF&gt; tag) with your response?

Slacker, I have a program called WinBoost 2001, that has an option to change to a military style clock, I know older windows had that option within it, WinME doesn't seem to have it. Or I can't find it. Try looking for programs that change the style of your clock.

Slacker, sorry for not posting a response earlier, but to answer your question you have to (with Win98, not too sure if it works with the other versions)the Control Panel &gt; Regional Settings &gt; Time Tab &gt; Time Style &gt; HH:mm:ss

Good Luck http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

And if you want to get a little egotistical, change your, "Times", Am and PM, to what ever you want.

<IMG SRC="http://cablelan.net/beemer/bt.gif" border=0>
(I placed "Beemer" in the Time sample: with a little cut and paste.)

Cheers!

Your problem lies with geocities and not the UBB code. geocities stopped the file sponcering a while back. I ran into this and blamed sysopt wrongly myself.

My fix:
I used my free ISP hosted web space of 5 megs for hosting the files I have imaged on sysopt threads. Call your ISP or look at their home page for info on free web space. They might be offering a few megs.

Cheers!
