After struggling with 256mb rams for about a week I decided to give up 256mb ram and put my two old PC100 64mb rams back on my computer, but even after putting the rams way it was before it keeps freezing.
I even tried to format everything and installed everything back, but still freezes
, I just want my old computer back no more
fancy rams or anything, just my old computer

check your motherboard manual and see if you can reset your CMOS/BIOS with either a DIP switch or a jumper setting -

That may fix the problem by taking your BIOS back down to the factory default.

On the other hand - that might be where you are at and your motherboard battery is dead so the E-PROM chip doesn't hold the BIOS/CMOS settings and keeps crapping out on you -

Try that and have the RAM tested at your local store - they will usually do it for nothing -

Give us a better definition of exactly where it freezes - perhaps this is something else.

it usually doesn't freezed during surfing or any other stuff (accept it once freezed during hard drive defragmentation)
it usually freezes during games
and there is "setting default" in the BIOS,
and I did try that but didn't work
