easy cd creator compatability

For some reason my new cd burner (12x10x32) will not work with easy cd creator 4.02. It gives me the message that there is either no compatable burner or it is not connected properly. But it is connected properly.

What burner do you have ? Under what OS do you work ? Try updating ASPI driver if you working with NT/2000, or just switch to Nero. I like NTI CD-Maker 2000 Pro too, but Nero supports more drives.

You'll most likely have to download some updates from adaptec here (http://www.roxio.com) . You can update to version 4.05. I have deluxe 4.02 and it works fine, so I'm leaving it alone. I remember not too long ago that someone posted about updating to 4.03 and it having some copyright protection features. Hopefully, those have been removed in 4.05. In either event, that should take care of it for you. Good luck.
