I am looking at buying a Chaintech 7KJD. It supports DDR memory. Do I have to put in DDR memory or can I use SDRAM?

This mobo supports DDR SDRAM memory only. SDR and DDR sticks are different, don't even try putting SDR into DDR slot, it won't fit.

I just bought an Asus A7A266. It supports SDRAM and DDR. I get to put it together tonight. 1.4 gig T'bird to go with.

Apparently, there are some mobo's that have 168-pin SDRAM sockets and 184-pin DDR sockets... otherwise, no.
