I just got the Cambridge DTT2500 5.1 sound system and its great, but the subwoofer lacks so much. It might be able to hit very low frequencies but it sounds horrible. The individual frequencies that it plays sounds all garbled and theres no thump power. I read that the system can have a seperate powered subwoofer instead of the one supplied. Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing my current sub or should i get a new one? If I get a new one does anyone know where i can get a cheap powered sub that sounds decent and around 30-50 watts? I don't want to annoy more people in my house so I'm going for low power. Thanks

Double check all of your connections make sure one didn't slip partway out.
You can always exchange them if you have'nt had them to long.
