Can someone here tell me what this means and why this is happening?

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 2497 MHz with 247MB RAM

General protection fault!

What can I do to play this game?

Thanks MJCfromCT it worked. I thought maybe becuase it was my onboard video at first that it wouldn't run. Still I think a upgrade of a video card is in order.

I had that problem as well when I was using a smaller video card but once I installed something large enough to run it, it ran fine after that. Are you experiencing any other problems? How much onboard video ram are you able to use?
I reinstalled a friends entire system, and he was using one of the GeForce 4 64mb mx agp cards and he had no problem running the game. I bought the chaintech Ti-4800 with 128mb of ram on the agp card and I love it. Now that I have a motherboard that supports the 8x agp, and the cpu and ram to push it to the limit, that 8x agp card puts out the most amazing graphics.
Now, if I could just get something besides this dreaded dialup I would be in gamer heaven!! Alas, nothing else is available, neither cable or dsl is available in my area :-(
And, I cant quite afford that t-1 circuit yet at $675 a month. But Im working on it!!

it has 64mb shared onboard, it's called intell extreme but when it runs a game it's called intel I scream cause it sucks. I think I'm going to invest in the fx5200 128mb ddr pci.
