I know that usually the driver with the older OS has to be set as the Primary Master, and the one with the newer OS that you want to dualboot with should be the Primary Slave, but is it possible to have the driver that has the newer OS, which is usually set as the Primary Slave, to be set as the Secondary Master and still have it configure to reboot?
BTW, older OS is Win2k Pro and newer OS is Win XP Pro.
Reason being is that there is also a CD burner and a DVD-ROM on the system, and in order to burn "on-the-fly", you need to have the CD burner and DVD-ROM on different IDE channels.
If you can't have the drive with the newer OS set as the Secondary Master and still have it reboot, is there a way to do it so you can retain the "on-the-fly" feature?
