Hey all..

just got an antec sonata, and i really want to use the audio thing at the front of the case. I already have a soundblaster audigy gamer, and i have an asus p4p800 (non-deluxe) with the integrated sound disabled. Is there any way to get the case audio option working without causing any conflicts in my system? :t

I think so. Enable the onboard audio and connect the front jacks. Do not connect both the AUD_IN and AUD_OUT jacks. Just connect the OUT jacks so you have a fixed connection to the front.

In Sounds and Multimedia, do not check "Use only preferred devices".

my mobo has a "front panel audio connector (10-1 pin FP_audio)" plug, and i tried plugging the little wires from my case into the mobo, but it didn't seem to work..
the person who built my comp disabled the on-board sound, and i'm having troubles trying to enable it. If i plug the little wires into the mobo, would i also have to install the on-board sound drivers also?

Yes you would.
