Just upgraded a system from WinME to Win2k and for some reason, when you execute Outlook Express, it says the following:
msimn.exe had generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created.
Anyone know what the deal is? Where do I access the error log?

Dr Watson creates the log i think (could be wrong about the app). I have never tried to access it. You can look in Event Viewer to see the error.
I would just reinstall Internet Explorer and Internet Tools. Go to version 6 if you have it. This should fix the error as Outlook Express will get installed with it.

OK. Thanks. I'll try that. I did download and install the latest version of IE from Windows Update (Win2k came with IE & OE 5). I figured that would fix it, but it didn't.
