handspring treo 90 synchronizing with lotus notes R5 via easysynch 3.0a

i recently ran into a problem with a handspring treo 90, win2000 professional, easysynch 3.0a, and lotus notes R5.0.11. when trying to sunchronize the handspring to lotus notes i get an "easysync;notes c api error; invalid nsf version - failed to obtain list of local address books". i have tried reinstalling the lotus notes R5, reloading the handspring software and easysync software. but continue to get the error. the address book fails to be transferred to the handspring unit. any assistance out would be appreciated. thanks -- welk

I do not use easysynch but get similar errors. We use Avantgo Pylon Conduit for Palm. We had several version 3 licenses but they do not work with Lotus R6. We had to purchase AvantGo Version 5 to fix the error.

I would check the compatibility of easysynch and see which versions of notes your software will work with. If it was designed for Notes 6 it will not work for 5. There were too many changes made to the NSF files once you update the templates.
