question stated, i get confused which way to put my case fan when putting it in my case. which way do i put it when i want it to inlet air and vice versa?

If it is up front, I typically have it blowing in. If it is in the rear, I ALWAYS have it exhausting (hot air fromt he power supply is being blown out the back).

Yeah, think of it like a car... You have your intake up front, and your exhaust in the back http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif Thats how I have mine anyway.

what i meant was which way should the front face of the fan face towards when exaushting and inletting. i think the front face blows while the back sucks air but how can i tell which face is the front face.

There should be two arrows on the side of the fan showing the direction of turn and the direction of the air movement.
