Just bought a new HD

ok i just bought a new Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 8mb cache 7200rpm 120GB hard drive, the thing is this thing has a 9.3 ms seek time and my old hard drive has 8.5 but its a seagate barracuda 7200rpm 30gb.

another factor is that i bought the Maxtor for 139.99 but there is two 30 dollar rebates i can send in, making this thing 70 dollars.

is this a good deal or should i return the drive, because i havent opened it yet

go to www.storagereview.com to compare the drives if you are that concerned. Your 8mb cache drive should be much faster than that old drive.
