What is the fastest way to send/receive about 300 pictures every week or so? Is email the only way? It's kinda slow for that big quantity. Is there a better way?

If the quantity (the amount of pictures) is the only reason you think email doesn't work. Zip them into one file and then post.

one big file is probably too big for email, depending on isp(5mb cap)? i'd send them over messenger one big zip file.

hotmail has a limit of 1mb. I would change all the pics into jpgs because they are a lot smaller than bmps and the quality is just a little bit worse. Also i would send a group of zips not just one just in case someone cant wait to download that file.

I am amazed! there is something specifically designed to move files over the net: FTP
Why use email (size limitation, twice the time /upload-download) or proprietary "direct file trasnfer" (aka holes in your firewall) through messangers, when such thing as FTP exists and is design for the use!!!

Set your box as a server, your clients boxes as clients and send all the files you want! And it's faster than any other workaround suggested here!

How about ICQ?

I also agree with the FTP thing. I run both a web and FTP server on this machine and I am able to remotely manage the websites stored on here from anywhere because of FTP (and telnet). THe only problem is that you may have to lend a hand in teaching them how to use an FTP client...

This is all assuming that you are not on a dial-up connection, of course.
