It seems that there is something new going on with the limits to a thread before it is concidered for closing. What's going on?

Cheers!

Perhaps you haven't read Socalgal's thread titled; PROPER POSTING TECHINIQUES (http://www.sysopt.com/forum/Forum1/HTML/013987.html)

I believe you're seeing the remains of threads that have been moved to the PROPER forum. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Mr. Mojo Risin has the right idea I think. I saw a thread earlier that was closed on General Tech Dis. and it was moved to Tech Support. "No notice given". (hint, hint)

Cheers!

On the contrary, a notice is given. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

In the closed thread, under the large "SysOpt.com" logo there will be a notice in bold stating where your thread was moved to.

If your thread was moved to Tech support, this is what it will say:
This topic has been transferred to this forum: Technical Support.

Now I see it! Thanks people. I liked the updated URL posted within the original thread. Much more friendly. We're old hats at this message board and know how to get the information to where it has gone. Such as what this post is all about. Newbies come here and they might not know what is going on. They won't know that the link has been moved. I missed it! The text for

"This topic has been transferred to this forum: Technical Support."

is to small to see. Hyperlinking the text as well as making it stand out a little more would help. My opinion.

Cheers!
