I agree...a KVM is great!
Just be sure to not get the cheapo KVM that is a manual switch. Make sure you get one that signals your system to let it know the K&M are still connected, otherwise, you will haev to reboot very frequently.

suppose computer A is running win98 and computer B is running a dual boot win2000/linux. now how can you connect them both in order for them to share the same monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc? what stuff one need in order to accomplish this?
