I've been trying to install windows XP... the preparation part goes fine... then it asks for restart... After that it goes to the windows installation setup and then shut's my computer down even before getting to "installing the devices". I've even update for the lastest Flash Bios. Is there something on the bios setting that I should enable or disable?

System...
Dual Xeon 3.06 each
Tiger i7505
2 GB memory non-ECC
Verto Geforce FX 5900 Ultra (256MB)
WD 200 GB UDMA
WD 160 GB UDMA
SoundBlaster Audigy 2 6.1

Shouldn't you be using ECC RAM?

The motherboard supports both non-ECC and ECC.... but it cannot be registered.

Try removing all unnecessary cards and updating the BIOS.

Assuming it's not hadrware related - which flavour of XP are u using.
The correct HAL drivers must be installed at the beginning of setup.

Wiindows keeps shutting down with no purpose (freezing) it almost like it freezes the memory (Faulty memory). Especially when I'm using a 3D program to render. Can anybody please help me with this issue???

Thanks in Advance...

Test your RAM with Memtest86 (http://www.memtest86.com/).

I tried and it shows no errors whatsoever... Any other suggestion would be most welcome...
