I'm not an expert on cooling, but i just love the golden orb. looks **** cool.

I used to like the orbs, but they are very inefficient for cooling socket A type processors. My favorites are the Millenium Glaciator, the Noise Control Silverado, and the Swiftech MC462. All are excellent heatsink/fans.

Donno about the others, I'm happy enought with my Vantec FCE-62540D with best ever clip, and Delta 7K RPM fan on it, T-Bird 1@1.2 GHz 38C idle, 48 full load.

Simple---unless you add water and pelts Swiftech MC462---ive got 2 of them...
2nd choice, Noise Control Silverado if you want HIGH performance without the added decibels (I have one of these elusive h/s's) 3rd choice MCX370 again from Swiftech...
