Popups In IE

All of a sudden I am getting popups almost every time I access the internet, This is something new to me...

I was wondering if anyone else is getting these?

Is this something new or did I download something to cause it.

And can I eliminate it?

Yes you can do something, but do you want to?

You basically turn of scripting support in your browser. Gone are the popups. Gone too, is some major browser functionality. But at least the choice is yours.

If there are particular websites where annoying popups are common, just add those sites to your "Restricted Sites" list, and make sure Java scripting is disabled for the "Restricted" zone. You'll lose java "enhancements" and "popups" on those sites, but not for anything else.
