Some clicks are normal during ZIP disk usage. If there is constant clicking, then there might be a problem. The drive that clicks can destroy ZIPs that are used in it and the destroyed ZIP media have been known to adversly effect other ZIP drives when used in them. Iomega has settled a class action lawsuit regarding this.
