And Now my zonealarm been blocking UDP and TCP something like manic. What services are those associated with and is it critial for gamer/broadband/router/network? You're not blocking protocols - you're blocking addresses. If you add a strange IP address to the trusted zone, you may as well uninstall Zone Alarm because that person is now allowed in. Simply because it's more convenient to pester someone(s) who know what they're talking about. It's human nature, unfortunately - to avoid the research, wing it, get in trouble, and then count on someone else for rescue. But hey, we were all noobs once. Sorry to hear about your week.
