Open Windows Explorer and select the file, now right-click on it while holding down <Shift>, and select Open with...

Pay special attention to the checkbox that says; "Always use this program to open this file" http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I saved a clipboard file and tried to open it as a notepad, now everytime I save a clipboard file it saves as a notepad file. How do I stop this?

I opened a clipboard file with the wrong programme, now everytime I open a file it opens with the wrong programme. I know there is a keyboard combination to remedy this but I do not know what it is. Can anyone help?
