I've had one of these, liked it, till lightning ran through the surge protector http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=MLINK56K

Bought 5 of these so far, easy to set up and so far, NO drop-outs http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=ENF656-AM

For $40.00 a TRUE Jumperable Hardware modem
Requires an ISA slot though http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2.cgi?PAGE=PROFRAME&PROD_ID=24292&key=Other%20Brands

Lots of members use this one.

On the last on, the DIAMOND SupraExpress, A quick trip to pricewatch netted a vendor with a decent evaluation at ResellerReviews from 599 customers.

A drop in price to $25.00 and $7 s&h to Ga, your mileage may vary http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif www.axiontech.com/cgi-local/prdtinfo.asp?prdt=MDDISEISAO (http://www.axiontech.com/cgi-local/prdtinfo.asp?prdt=MDDISEISAO)

NO, I must take that back, for Reseller Ratings, they have an EXCELLENT REVIEW->>

*NOTE*
This is an OEM Modem ,, Unlike the one in my first post which is a Retail.

This one will not come with drivers or instructions, the shipping at Outpost is $4 which is $3 cheaper.

Do you want to spend $12 more for a Retail unit??

Had to edit this post to include that pertinant information.

Diamond Supra Express. Period.
Even on that auction site they're less than $25.
Arguably the best modem ever built.
