found a great gadget. this one by Lenox but others must make one. this unit comes with an AC module, plug your sterio into it, an adapter for the cig lighter in your car and a gadget like a cassete you stick in the car cassete unit, or earphones on battery, $30.00
didn't know there was such a thing, plays burned CDs great. good to look for if you have a need for it.

Does it have anti-skip? If so, how many seconds?
Not looking for one, just curious...I'm happy with my high-tech $110 Panasonic http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

i am still fairly proud of my sony d-ej815 walkman, it is pretty cool and with all four batteries, two inside, two in the extra battery thing, it gets like 72 hours of nonstop playback with gforce anti skip (never skips) it was $149.99 if i got the 30 dollar car kit (the tape thing and the cigarette plug) it would be almost perfect http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Hey, I've got the Panasonic equivalent of yours, Jacob. It has two rechargable AAA batteries on the inside + a pod thing that can connect to the outside for 2 AA batteries. The size of the internal batteries make it quite slim. It also has 3 preset EQ settings - Normal, Extra bass and Live (ultra clear, concise sound with minimal bass).
When I get some extra $$$ to waste, I'm gonna get some high quality head phones, the ones with the large speaker magnets (cover ears). I have a $20 Labtec set now, but it distorts at high volumes (hehe), a HUGE improvement in bass, though, over standard head phones (bass is good). I don't use it much, but it is REALLY handy when I do.

this is a simple unit. the only thing I had to play CDs was the computer, needed something to test burned CDs it has a 10 sec mem thingy in it , Ive hit some of the roughest streets we have and never misses a beat. works great all three ways, like the multi use. and the price was great, I take it with me to check out used CDs before I buy them. and feed it into my sterio.
