I click on the Excel icon to open a particular Excel doc.. It gives me an error message stating as follows: "Cannot find the file 'U;\Main\######.xls\' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available." I right clicked to find the target but it shows none. Also, went to program files and all I saw in there is a shortcut icon to excel with no target. I can open excel in this location and then open the document i need, but I can't create a shortcut on the desktop to open this document. This is when I receive the message above.
God bless

Regardless of how the "target" got messed up, either retype the correct path for the .xls file into the "Target" box, or just create a new shortcut to the file by dragging the .xls file onto the desktop while holding down the right mouse button.
