I have tried searching for it on my computer, and cna't find the exe. I have also searched teh web, and can't find out what it is.
I did a clean install on my machine about a week ago, and this has been there since. I have AVG fully updated, and ZoneAlarm, and I am also behing a router w/firewall.
I have run spybot, and ad-aware, and they don't remove it.
Does anyone know what it is?
Thanks.

My mistake, I forgot to attach the picture
Do you have an Epson Stylus C82?
Epson Stylus C82 Series
e_s0hic1.EXE
Required for an interface to some versions of MS Word to ensure that some fonts are printed correctly. Start it manually if required
Got this from, http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_pages/startup_e.php
The best thing I've found to reasearch processes, is just type the full name of the process into Google, and your about 99.9% sure to find out what it is with a little research, it may not be the top hit, but its there.

you know I think it may be catching, I always forget to attach images ;)
incidently thats not a service as such, it's a program which is started at startup. An easy way to find the .exe is to use something like msconfig, have a look at the startup lists and find the .exe's path.
then you can right-click properties and usually the company will have it's details in the summary section :D
Google is a funny old thing, it yeilds fantastic results but sometimes it needs an exact phrase, the writing off which is sometimes pot luck ;)

You know Doc, I have been doing this for years, and like an idiot, I forgot to open msconfig, and look for it. It was right there, and infact, had the printer name with it.
I guess I'm having a "slow" day ;)
We all have those days. I've just got used to researching every process that runs on my computer if I don't know what it is. Too much **** going on these days, and I really don't want to lose my computer to a virus..... Too much important stuff!

y'know.... i searced e_sohic1.EXE instead of e_s0hic1.EXE
