Bios flash and raid

Hi,

I have a server with a Supermicro X5SSE-GM ServerWorks GC-SL Single Xeon DDR ATX motherboard and a Promise SX6000
RAID 5 controller card. Will flashing the bios have any affect on the raid setup?
