Howzit peeps I just burned a bootable IOS of Win XP when it starts it sez (Boot:cannot find NTLD) can someone tell me what this is. Thanks For any advice.

GroundZero3 07-16-2001, 09:15 AM make sure that in bios you make it boot to cd rom first. also not all mb support boot to cd rom so you might have to use a win9x with cd rom drivers. im not sure what Winxp installation is like tho if you can use a win9x disk. but give it a shot Jason bhess 07-16-2001, 11:07 AM I'm not sure what it is. Have you tried installing it by dual booting? It's really easy. Try installing it from win9x or 2k and see if it gives the same error. BBA 07-16-2001, 03:24 PM Sounds like a problem in the code in the boot section. It probably indicates a problem with code elsewhere in the ISO. I would dump it and get a good copy. SysOpt.com
