ez-cd creator vs. direct cd

I have a few cd-rw disks that are formated to direct cd. How do I change it to a regular data cd?

In your program group you will find CD-RW eraser. This will remove the formatting of the Direct CD

Or you can just simply erase the CDRW using Adaptec Easy CD Creator. There are two options, quick and full...

I forgot to mention that it is version 5. I checked the program group. All I have is:
direct cd format utility
ez cd creator
cd copier
labeler
session selector
and video

I got it. What a pain. I know I've done this before but it wouldn't work this time. I had to do a format for direct cd then erase it. Maybe the original wasn't a good format. Before the erase cd button couldn't be clicked.
